OUR COMMITMENT

In line with the school’s strategic plan, through the SER (Social and Environmental Responsibility) projects we aim for our students to understand that the decisions they make and their actions have an impact. We seek to develop them as conscious and empathetic individuals who can make a positive impact on other people and the planet.

This programme is aligned with the units of inquiry for each grade, includes community projects and CAS (Creativity, Action and Service from the IB), and is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as the ideals of Round Square and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (International Award).

TRAINING

Projects for the Anglo Community address the welfare needs of the people who work at the school by generating opportunities for employment, education and housing improvements among others.

COMMUNITY

We create projects that have an impact on the school community and on external communities selected by the school.

ANGLO COMMUNITY

The school develops projects and activities that benefit school employees in the service sector to generate a positive impact on their lives and those of their families. An example of this is Educanglo: a non-formal education programme for school employees and their families taught by school teachers and students.

EXTERNAL COMMUNITIES

The school makes a careful selection of foundations and partner organisations to develop different projects.

INSTITUTIONAL

Students are actively involved in initiatives that reinforce the coherence between what is promoted in class and the daily operation of the school. So we measure our carbon footprint, use solar energy and receive Green Flag certification.
