Arts, culture and sport are essential pillars of our education. Our students have the opportunity to take advantage of a wide range of artistic and sporting activities to explore and develop their talents to the full.

SPORTS AT ANGLO
Sport is part of the IB curriculum and students have approximately 4 hours in the Physical Education cycle. Our campus has multiple venues for sport and activities such as Sports Day and the Intercasas dance competition encourage a love of sport and movement and build healthy competition.
SPORTS DAY
One day a year, each section celebrates its Sports Day. Students compete by house in circuits of different physical challenges. Families come to support their houses and celebrate the students’ efforts.
UNCOLI
We belong to UNCOLI (Union of International Schools), an organisation that brings together 27 international schools in Colombia and provides opportunities for participation and exchange in sporting, cultural, academic and social activities. Our teams train before or after school to represent the school in these tournaments.

THE ARTS
AT ANGLO
Music, dance, and theater awaken a unique sensitivity in our students, strengthen their expression, and build community. Through each note, step, or scene, we cultivate talents, develop emotional skills, and promote memorable experiences that transcend the classroom and last a lifetime.
MUSIC
We offer a comprehensive and enriching music programme, our students have the opportunity to learn various instruments, participate in ensembles, bands and choirs and learn about different musical genres.
INTER-HOUSE Dance Competition
In this traditional interhouse competition, students prepare with great effort choreographed Colombian and world folkloric dances and learn about the history and culture of each region. This is a unique show that has transcended generations and creates unforgettable memories for the students.
THE MUSICAL
Every year Primary and Secondary students come together to bring to life an unforgettable theatrical experience. This project not only cultivates skills in acting, music and dance, but also instills in the participants self-confidence, pressure management and the development of lasting intergenerational bonds.
CHOIR
The Primary choir is a very special place to learn vocal technique, interpretation, teamwork. The choir participates in internal events and Uncoli festivals.
MUSIC BANDS
Primary and Bachillerato students have the opportunity to create bands of different music genres while learning to interact musically in a group. This not only improves their technical skills, but also their capacity for collaboration and fellowship.
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
In our extracurricular activities programme, we offer individual lessons with teachers who specialise in a wide range of instruments. From piano, guitar, violin and drums, each student receives instruction tailored to their level and pace of learning, allowing them to perfect their technique and explore their musical potential in depth.
