Aims/objetivos
  •   Describe and continue a given sequence. Recognise a sequence as arithmetic, geometric or neither. Understand and use rules for general terms for AP’s and GP’s.
  •  To understand and sketch variations of the basic functions

Content/contenido

Sequences. The students will:

  •  Find terms of a sequence from a rule
  •  Extend a given sequence
  •  Describe a given sequence using words
  •  Recognise an Arithmetic Sequence
  •  Find any term of an AP.
  •  Recognise a Geometric sequence
  •  Find any term of a GP
  •  Solve a range of problems using AP’s and basic GP’s  



Graphs of related functions. The students will:

 

  •  Sketch vertical and horizontal translations
  •  Sketch reflections over x and y axis
  •  Sketch dilations parallel to the x and y axis
Summative task / evaluación final
  • Test, Quizzes, Project, Classwork
