The student will be able to:

•  identify the magnetic field around a bar magnet and fields around combination of magnets.
•  identify electric fields around isolated charges and binary charges.
•  describe electrostatics and electrostatic induction phenomena, EMF, pd, current and resistance.
•  lmake comparisons between series and parallel circuits (keep this simple, it is just the basics that are required).
•  establish the relationship between current and resistance in a serried circuit.
•  determine the factors that effect resistance.
